Osteopathy

Hands-on manual therapy to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. We focus on restoring balance and function throughout the body, addressing not just the symptoms but the root cause of your discomfort. We utilise various techniques to improve joint mobility, reduce muscle tension, and enhance overall movement.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a Western form of acupuncture that complements osteopathy and massage treatments. It involves inserting fine, sterile needles into specific trigger points within muscles, tendons, or ligaments. These trigger points are often tight bands or knots of muscle that contribute to pain, stiffness, and restricted movement. The insertion of the needle aims to elicit a “twitch response,” a brief muscle contraction that signals the release of tension. This release helps reduce pain, improve muscle function, and promote healing. While it uses the same thin needles as traditional Chinese acupuncture, dry needling is based on Western anatomical and neurophysiological principles, focusing on treating musculoskeletal conditions.

Tendon Clinic

Shockwave therapy uses high-energy sound waves to penetrate tissues, stimulating regeneration and providing significant pain relief. It’s ideal for a wide range of individuals, from athletes and gym-goers to those experiencing pain from repetitive activities like gardening, walking, or cycling.

This treatment is particularly effective for persistent conditions that have lasted at least 3-4 weeks, such as Achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, runner’s knee, rotator cuff injuries, and tennis/golfer’s elbow.

Posture Correction

Good posture is about more than just standing up straight; it’s the foundation of your body’s health. It involves aligning your skeleton, muscles, and joints to support your body with the least amount of strain and energy expenditure. Over time, poor posture can lead to a host of issues, including back pain, headaches, muscle stiffness, and even fatigue.

How We Help

Our dedicated posture correction sessions are designed to identify and correct the habits that are putting unnecessary stress on your body. We provide comprehensive assessments and personalised guidance to help you.

This is achieved by working on three main systems: fascia, muscles, and joints.

  • Improve Alignment: Re-establish your body’s natural alignment.
  • Improve Range of Motion: Regain movements that you have lost and enhance your mobility.
  • Relieve Pain: Reduce chronic pain and discomfort in your back, neck, and shoulders.

Think of it as a regular tune-up for your body’s framework. Just like a car needs regular maintenance, your body benefits from a consistent focus on alignment to prevent wear and tear.

Our Program
We recommend a posture check-up and correction every 3 months to maintain your progress and ensure long-term benefits. These sessions are designed to keep you on track and prevent the return of bad habits.

This is a one-hour session. Please book the extended session when making an appointment.

Amazing as always. Haythem has magic hands. I'm pregnant and had so much back pain but I always feel much better after his therapy.

Came to see Haythem the Osteopath because I had been having hip pain for 6 weeks. I’d seen another osteo already and had been to A&E. Neither of the previous doctors had helped except to say stretch more and take painkillers. Haythem worked a miracle by manipulating my back and stretching it the pain disappeared instantly. The best money ever spent. I will be coming back every quarter for an MOT.
Huge thank you to Haythem.
